Conformal Coatings: Enhancing your Coil Winding Designs

Throughout the life of coil windings, challenges of corrosion, electrical isolation and other environmental challenges can impact the performance and life expectancy. Conformal Coatings like Parylene have been applied before and after winding to enhance overall environmental protection, added dielectric strength and reinforce the mechanical integrity of the winding. Learn how conformal coatings applied before and/or after winding help prepare the coil design to handle environmental conditions.
