Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Power Technology Research (PTR)

Hassan is the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Power Technology Research (PTR). After starting in the power sector around a decade ago, he has been working for various Fortune-500, FTSE-100, DAX-30 and NIKKEI-225 clients, assisting them with global market studies in the power grid sector. In his current role at PTR, he work with clients to support their research requirements, both through custom consulting work and tailored research reports within the Power Grid and New Energy segments.

Hassan has a tech background with a Masters in Power Engineering from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). Additionally, he is also an Alumni of Center for Digital Technology & Management(CDTM) where he completed my Honors Degree in Technology Management.

The Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Directive (Afid) In the EU and Other Governments:  Roll- Out Plans

  • What are the main challenges of the Afid for the industry and what is the impact?
  • Chinaannounced a USD 1.4 trillion digital infrastructure public spending programme that includes funding for EV charging stations. This has trickled down to the local level, with more than ten cities announcing targets to install about 1.2 million chargers by 2025
  • In the USA, an infrastructure plan proposed in early 2021 would establish grant and incentive programmes to install 500. 000 chargers, adding to about 100. 000 existing charging points
  • This session will look at these roll out plans in more detail and evaluate the challenges and opportunities
