Mario Kehrer

Chief Engineer Production Engineering of E-Mobility Components (PEM) - RWTH Aachen University

After his graduation in electrical engineering specialized on batteries and electric mobility in Karlsruhe and Shanghai, Mr. Kehrer was able to lead many projects regarding production processes, logistics and workforce qualification for TIER 1 e-mobility suppliers and manufacturers. 
As a chief engineer, Mr Kehrer is responsible for research and project work on all components of the electric drive train. His many years of work in the battery field are followed by research into fuel cells and the integration of both technologies into the drive train of vehicles. The aim of this work is to select the optimal energy carrier or converter for the corresponding application, from inner-city operation to long-distance use.
