Petar Georgiev

Head of Strategic Alliances, Regulatory Affairs and Sustainability Ampeco

A seasoned and internationally-recognised advisor, Petar Georgiev is currently the Head of Strategy and Partnerships at AMPECO, a charge point management platform for electric vehicles. In his current role Petar has forged industry-wide alliances and partnerships through his understanding of macro-trends in the industry. Petar is also responsible for the sustainability efforts of his company and its strategic positioning internationally in the context of industry associations and initiatives.

Previous to his present role, Petar has actively shaped Europe’s clean transportation policy during a multi-year stint based in Brussels. He has contributed to the finalisation of the EU Mobility Package and the formation of the EU Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy with the active promotion for electric vehicle and charging infrastructure/.
Petar Georgiev is the 2021 winner of the “EV Under 30 Star” award, which he received during the EV World Congress in Bristol (UK), and is also among the 2022 class of the Forbes Bulgaria "30 Under 30" ranking.
