Patrick Schaufuss is a core leader of the McKinsey Center for Future Mobility, Patrick helps clients in the areas of energy & powertrain transition, vehicle electrification, emissions regulations, supply chain, battery technology, electric-vehicle (EV) strategy, and advanced mobility trends.
Since 2009, Patrick has worked across the automotive value chain and mobility ecosystem and supported Tier 1 and 2 suppliers, such as raw-materials producers, chemical companies, EV manufacturers, automotive suppliers, fuel cell producers, and battery makers. He also has experience with passenger and commercial vehicle OEMs, as well as mobility and tech start-ups, investors, industry associations, and public-sector clients on topics related to sustainable mobility and decarbonization.
Patrick has worked globally for clients in approximately 20 countries, including approximately two years in the United States and one year in Asia.
Patrick coleads McKinsey’s research work on sustainable mobility and electrification and frequently publishes on related topics in that sector.
